On April 8, “2016 China Information Technology Expo (CITE 2016)”, held in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, was the third exhibition event organized by Shenzhen municipal government after China High-Tech Fair (CHTF) and International Cultural and Creative Industrial Expo (ICCIE).
Shenzhen Customs officers twice attended the municipal coordination meeting on exhibition working plans, listening to the Expo organizer’s demands in Customs clearance, conveying Customs regulations on temporary inbound exhibits, and receiving consultation from sponsors, exhibitors, and freight forwarders. Then, the Customs set up a special Expo Control Workgroup to provide expo onsite control and service, time reservation for inbound exhibit declaration, and overtime clearance beyond 8 working hours for scheduled exhibit admission. Finally, the Customs smoothly finished all clearance formalities for temporary entry of USD330,000-worth foreign exhibits applied for by the Expo.
