Since China (Zhengzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area formally opened in January, Zhengzhou Customs has taken many measures to help build this Pilot Area.

The Customs District has innovated the cross-border e-commerce control model by standardizing cargo trade and service trade controlling processes on import and export, supporting easier customs clearance through different business models like B2B and B2C, simplifying declaration formalities for higher clearance efficiency, and exploring HS classification, list declaration, statistic system that are suitable for network e-retail, offering handy service for the public, and cooperating with related government agencies to provide “single window” comprehensive service platform with cross-border e-commerce “Three Mutuals” (mutual exchange of information, mutual recognition of controls, and mutual assistance of enforcement), promoting the mode of “big data + e-commerce + foreign trade” in line with Henan provincial plan to provide key support and customized service for provincial top 10 enterprises and top 10 foreign-trade firms, helping them with intensive global marketing to raise market share at fastest speed and lowest cost.

From January to June, Zhengzhou Customs totally released 59,183,900 parcels inbound and outbound by cross-border e-commerce, worth RMB5, 613 million, and newly registered around 160 e-commerce companies and over 30,000 commodity items, showing a good momentum of cross-border e-commerce in Zhengzhou City.
