Guangzhou Customs Seizes Over 75,000 IPR-Infringing Goods

Recently, Guangzhou Customs-affiliated Nansha Customs House intercepted 4 IPR infringement cases in the sea transport way, seizing more than 75,000 pieces of infringing goods worth CNY 1.08 million.

 

Those goods, declared for export to Kenya, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, included motorcycle accessories, clothing, handbags, etc. in over 20 categories. And they were confirmed as infringing on nearly 40 trademarks including "NIKE", "YAMAHA", "SAMSUNG" and "Xiaomi".

 

At present, the IPR owners have applied to the Customs for IPR protection, with the cases under further investigation.
