Shanghai Customs Clears 50,000 Medical Protective Clothes from Germany at Pudong International Airport


Sent from Frankfurt, Germany on January 27, a batch of 50,000 medical protective clothes were fast cleared by Shanghai Customs at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. This batch of anti-epidemic supplies was provided with expeditious clearance in the mode of “two-step declaration plus advance declaration”. Given the urgency of the situation and incomplete cargo information, the importer made a summary declaration right after it received the manifest information, and the Pudong Airport Customs released the supplies upon their arrival, so as to minimize the clearance time.

Changsha Customs Fast Clears Donated Supplies for Prevention and Control of the Novel Coronavirus-Related Pneumonia



On January 27, Hunan Province received 3 batches of donated medical supplies used for preventing and controlling the novel coronavirus-related pneumonia. The first batch, including 37,088 face masks, 435 safety goggles, 210 sets of protective clothes, and 1,500 pairs of medical gloves, arrived at Changsha Huanghua International Airport from Chiengmai, Thailand at noon. The other two batches, containing 284,000 face masks, were air-delivered to Changsha from Vientiane, Laos in the evening. All the supplies were donated to the Red Cross Society of Hunan Province.
In full support of the epidemic prevention and control, Changsha Customs immediately released the goods on its arrival after registration, thus putting them into local anti-epidemic uses as soon as possible.   
   
Qingdao Customs Fast Clears Imported Respirator Masks at Liuting Airport


On January 28 at 02:09 a.m., Qingdao Customs quickly cleared a batch of face masks purchased from abroad, totaling 240 cartons or 96,000 pieces, to be used for preventing and controlling the novel coronavirus-related pneumonia.
The Airport Customs opened a green lane for the goods by adopting the mode of “release before declaration”, so as to allow the supplies to be immediately released and put into anti-epidemic uses at frontline without delay.


Nanning Customs Fast Clears Importe Medical Masks at Wuxu Airport


On January 27, Nanning Customs fast cleared an urgent import of medical masks at Nanning Wuxu Airport. The supplies, totaling 10,050 pieces of medical masks, were donated by overseas Chinese organizations and social groups in Cambodia to support current epidemic prevention and control in China.  
Airport Customs confirmed the flight information and examined relevant documents in advance, and opened a green lane for fast clearance of the goods. In accordance with the Announcement on Customs Formalities for Importing Donated Supplies for Tackling the Novel Coronavirus-Related Pneumonia (GACC Announcement No.17 of 2020), Wuxu Airport Customs examined the certificates issued by the recipient organization in Wuhan, and released the supplies in the shortest time.

Shenzhen Customs Fast Clears Imported Thermometer Chips at Shenzhen Bay Port 


On January 26, Shenzhen Customs fast cleared 240 imported thermometer chips destined to Wuhan at Shenzhen Bay Port. Through a special green lane opened by the Customs, the imported chips were released in only a few minutes before sent to Wuhan, Hubei Province. 

In support of the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus-related pneumonia, Shenzhen Customs provides expeditious clearance for imported anti-epidemic supplies. In case of emergency, such supplies could be released upon registration before appropriate formalities are completed. Shenzhen Customs Fast Clears Urgent Supplies at Bao’an Airport



On January 27, Shenzhen Customs cleared a batch of urgent supplies from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, at Bao’an Airport. The supplies include over 20,000 face masks, 2000 protective clothes, and 2000 medical caps.
Bao’an Airport Customs opened a green lane for the goods, and designated officers to track the entire clearance process. After the arrival of the flight, Customs officers released the supplies immediately upon registration, before other declaration formalities were completed. Before noon, these supplies were distributed to the frontline officers at the airport, mask distribution points for passengers, and a number of local hospitals in Shenzhen’s Bao’an District, to relieve the shortage of medical supplies.

Fuzhou Customs Fast Clears First Donated Supplies for the Region at Changle Airport


On January 27, Fuzhou Customs fast cleared a batch of anti-epidemic medical supplies donated by Changle Association of Japan. This overseas donation, which includes 15,100 pairs of medical gloves, 48,900 face masks and 48 sets of protective clothes, was the first one received by Fuzhou City in support of the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus-related pneumonia.    
Changle Airport Customs opened an exclusive service window and a green lane for the goods, communicated in advance with the importer, designated officers to track the entire clearance process, and adopted the quick examination, inspection and release procedure, to ensure fastest clearance of the supplies.

Nanjing Customs Clears Face Masks at Suzhou Post Office



On January 28, Nanjing Customs cleared a batch of face masks at Suzhou Post Office. To fulfil GACC requirements regarding the clearance of supplies for prevention and control of the novel coronavirus-related pneumonia, Suzhou Customs has taken multiple measures to ensure fast clearance of such supplies. 
During the Spring Festival, Customs officers stationed in the Post Office have been working overtime for timely clearance of important anti-epidemic supplies. So far, they have cleared more than 300 cartons or 20,000 pieces of face masks, including N95 masks and other medical masks, mailed from countries such as Japan and South Korea. 


Guangzhou Customs Fast Clears Imported Medical Supplies at Baiyun International Airport



On January 26, 30 consignments of medical supplies arrived in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport from the USA and Japan. Baiyun Airport Customs immediately cleared the goods. By now, the supplies, including N95 masks, medical gloves, safety goggles, antiseptic wipes, antibiotics, among others, have been delivered to local frontlines to support the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus-related pneumonia.
In order to minimize the delay time for imported medical supplies, Baiyun Airport Customs has taken such measures as early communication with importers, public awareness raising of fast clearance measures, designated positions to trace the clearance status, quick examination, inspection and release procedures, among others.

Ningbo Customs Fast Clears 20,000 Face Masks from Thailand at Airport


On January 28, the fourth day of Chinese Lunar New Year, a total of 20,000 face masks arrived at Ningbo Airport, through Flight 9C8572 departing from Bangkok, Thailand. The supplies were donated by Mr. Wu Congshe, Executive Vice Chairman of Thai-Wenzhou Trade Association, to the government of Leqing City for local prevention and control of the novel coronavirus-related pneumonia. 
Ningbo Airport Customs, in accordance with the Announcement on Customs Formalities for Importing Donated Supplies for Tackling the Novel Coronavirus-Related Pneumonia (GACC Announcement No.17 of 2020), opened a green lane for the fast clearance of the goods. Based on the provision of “in emergency situations, goods may be released upon registration before appropriate formalities are completed”, Ningbo Airport Customs immediately released the goods in cooperation with Wenzhou Customs after registration and verification.
Ningbo Airport Customs also contacted in advance the freight depot operator and the airline, among others, to ensure timely unloading, warehousing and tally of the supplies on its arrival, so that they will reach the front line in time to support the battle against the epidemic. The facer masks were immediately transported to Leqing City after their pick-up at Ningbo Airport.

Khorgos Customs Fast Clears Imported Supplies for Prevention and Control of the Novel Coronavirus-Related Pneumonia


On January 27, Khorgos Customs House of Urumqi Customs District fast cleared a batch of imported supplies at the highway port. The supplies, including 85,000 3M N95 face masks, were purchased from Kazakhstan by Ili Chuanning Biotechnology Co., Ltd. as donations to medical institutions in Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, for the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus-related pneumonia.
