Nanjing Customs Helps Export Yixing Ceramics Abroad

Yixing City (in Jiangsu Province) is China’s ceramics center with many ceramic techniques listed as national and provincial intangible cultural heritage. In 2020, its ceramic exports (like tableware, kitchenware and tea ware) surged by 47.8% year-on-year to 1.08 billion yuan worth, according to Nanjing Customs statistics.

In support of the ceramic exports, Yixing Customs House, by virtue of technical advantages, timely provides product quality inspection reports for the manufacturers and helps them cope with foreign technical barriers to trade by meeting foreign market access requirements. Besides, the Customs facilitates registration and certification of origin, with the certification done in a few seconds through intelligent inspection system, reducing a lot of time and cost for the exporters.
