On December 17, Minister Yu Guangzhou and Vice Minister Sun Yibiao attended the First China-Mongolia-Russia Tripartite Customs Heads’ Meeting in Beijing.
Minister Yu exchanged views and reached consensus with Mr. Belyaninov, Head of Federal Customs Service of Russian Federation and Mr. Osor Ganbat, Director-General of Mongolian Customs General Administration on the establishment of a trilateral Customs cooperative mechanism, key areas of cooperation, future cooperation priorities, etc. All parties agreed that Customs of the three countries should enhance cooperation, put into practice the outcomes of China-Mongolia-Russia Presidential Summit in Ufa, establish a trilateral Customs cooperative mechanism, identify key cooperation priorities, align the development strategies of the three sides including China’s Silk Road Economic Belt, Russia's Trans-Eurasia railway and Mongolia's passage to grassland initiative, and promote the deveolpment of China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor.
