On March 4, in Qingdao Customs District, Yi Wenhua, a customs declarer of Qingdao Port International Logistics Company Ltd, came to the “green window for imported fertilizers” of Dagang Customs House (affiliated to Qingdao Customs District) for the clearance of 14,000-ton potash fertilizers. About ten minutes later, these fertilizers were allowed to be released.
At spring plowing season with weather getting warm, large amounts of imported fertilizers were swarming into the Customs port. Dagang Customs visited fertilizer importers to publicize preferential policies, answer questions and guide accurate declarations. Since fertilizer import is urgently needed, the Customs set up an information desk and a “green window for imported fertilizers” at the clearance site to give priority to imported fertilizer release, along with around-the-clock reservation service.
Customs officers were monitoring imported fertilizers being unloaded at the port.
