The Forum for Heads of Customs Administrations along the Belt and Road was held successfully in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province from May 27 to 28. The Forum was attended by heads and delegates from nearly 70 Customs administrations along the Belt and Road, 8 international/regional organizations (for example, the World Customs Organization), relevant Chinese government agencies as well as people from domestic and foreign business circle. Delegates discussed possible measures that could be taken to promote the development on such issues as international customs cooperation, connectivity among different Customs administrations, trade facilitation and regional economic development. Vice Premier Wang Yang attended the opening ceremony of the Forum and delivered an important speech.
The Forum, which was hosted by the General Administration of Customs of China, is the first high-level international conference of its kind that is with the theme of the Belt and Road Development.

Customs of China, delivered keynote speech at the Forum.
Mr. Zhao Zhengyong, Secretary of the Shaanxi CPC Provincial Committee,
gave the welcome remarks at the Forum.
Kunio Mikuriya, Secretary General of the World Customs
Organization delivered a speech at the Forum.
Mr. Sun Yibiao, Vice Minister of the General Administration of
Customs of China, was the host of the Forum.
