Dalian Customs inspects the import agricultural machinery.

On August 27, the Dayaowan port in Dalian Customs District received an import consignment of 9-sets agricultural machinery, including 5 combine harvesters and 4 rice transplanters. On their arrival, Dayaowan Customs House quickly completed customs-clearance procedures for the import.

The northeast provinces of China are major grain producing areas. Dayaowan, the most important port for agricultural machinery import in northeast China, usually releases a large quantity of agricultural machinery from abroad in early autumn-harvest period.

To ensure the smooth import, Dayaowan Customs House opened a “Green Channel for Agricultural Materials” providing barrier-free, zero-wait measures, and actively coordinated with other port administrations in such issues as clearance, unloading or loading, and transport, so as to minimize the machinery detention time and deliver them inward as soon as possible. 

From January to July this year, Dayaowan Customs cleared more than 3,500 tons of import agricultural equipment and 26,000 tons of agricultural fertilizers, totaling 370 million Yuan worth.
