On October 13, officers of Beijing Customs District exercised control at Beijing Olympic Park over a 17-meters-long “Long-ma” (a dragon-horse like flyer) and a 6-meters-wide “spider” which came to attend a parade in Beijing.
The “Long-ma” parade is one of the events held to mark the 50th anniversary of Sino-French relations. The mechanical devices which will be presented in this parade are huge in size, hard to be fixed together and difficult to be moved. To support the parade, Beijing Customs District opened a Green Channel, finished the bonded operation procedures for the goods and exercised control over the mechanical devices at the place where the parade will be held.
