Nanjing Customs Seizes Endangered Animal Products

On March 15, Suzhou Customs House (affiliated to Nanjing Customs District) seized 560 grams of ivory products, 380 grams of rhino horns and tiger teeth in a postal parcel from Hong Kong.

 

Since last year, Suzhou Customs has tightened the control over import and export endangered animal and plant products and has discovered and seized 34 related cases, seizing 72 pieces of ivories and ivory-made products weighing 6.6kg, as well as 33 pieces of red corals and related products weighing 4,250 grams.
