Changxing Island Customs House Opens

Upon the approval of the General
Administration of Customs, Changxing Island Customs House of the People’s Republic of China opened on January 19.
This Customs House, is located in Dalian Changxing Island National Economic
Zone, and is a subordinate Customs House under Dalian Customs District.
Changxing Island Customs House shoulders such responsibilities as Customs control over the inward and outward means of transport, goods and other articles, Customs control over processing trade and bonded operation, Customs revenue collection, cracking down on smuggling, audit-based Customs control and Customs statistics compilation.
The opening of this new Customs House means that the efficient Customs control models, the convenient services and the measures for economic development promotion launched by Dalian Customs District are all available now in Changxing Island, bringing the place closer to the world. With this new Customs House being operational, local enterprises can save a lot in corporate operation as they can now have the Customs formalities done and import and export goods cleared right in the place where they stay.
