On March 1, Zhengzhou Customs, Zhengzhou Airport Freight Checking Agency and Civil Aviation Service Center jointly finished inspecting 952.5 kilograms of outbound express mails in 1,956 consignments. It took only 20 minutes to finish the inspection by the new mode of “one machine with double screen”.

Zhengzhou Customs, Zhengzhou Airport Freight Checking Agency and international express enterprises had several seminars to make business cooperation measures, changing the old mode ”spot order receiving—Customs machine check—goods packing—security check—release” into the new mode “jointly one machine check with double screen”. In the new inspection mode, it only took 3 steps “order receiving—machine check—release” to finish the whole process, reducing previous 2-hour work to 20 minutes, thus the clearance efficiency improved by 5 times and logistic cost much down.

The “one machine with double screen” inspection mode has sped up express-mail processing at Zhengzhou Airport, a strong support for the Airport to get and keep freight business.
