On the night of April 10, a batch of express mails transported by the Shijiazhuang Subsidiary of Tianjin Baizhouda International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd. arrived at Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport from Hong Kong by scheduled flight 9C8784. On the next day, officers of the Airport Office under Shijiazhuang Customs fast transacted clearance formalities for those 40 pieces of express items including Korean cosmetics, skin-care products and some clothes, weighing12kg, worth over RMB3,500.

It was the first case of customs clearance for international express mail in Shijiazhuang Customs District, marking the starting of International Express Control Center and ending the history that Hebei Province had no international express clearance.

Since Shijiazhuang International Express-Mail Control Center was recently established, the Airport Office has set up an Express-Mail Control Section, assigning staff to consult Tianjin, Zhengzhou and Jinan Customs and researching adaptable control modes, regularly exchanged with express mail control place operators and express mail operators to help solve problems of the enterprises, by engaging in advance, keeping tracking the processes from policy improvement to hardware configuration in order to all-roundly support express mail operations, thus laying the foundation for the development of Hebei aviation logistics.
