Why Do the Customs Inspect Inbound/Outbound Goods?
09/20/2005

Inspection of inbound and outbound goods is one of the basic rights empowered to customs houses by the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China. It is also an administrative law-enforcement act done by the Customs to ascertain the conformity between the actual condition of inbound/outbound goods or articles and the content of relevant declaration and to ensure the legitimate entry/exit of the inbound/outbound means of transport and the legitimate entry/exit of the goods or articles carried by them.
