On June 24, Mr. Lyu Bin, Vice Minister and Head of Guangdong Sub-Administration co-chaired a bilateral meeting with Mrs. Natasa Radeska Krstevska, Director General of Macedonia Customs in Skopje, Macedonia.

Both sides highly valued the headway made in customs cooperation between the two countries, and agreed on four aspects. Firstly, collaboration should be enhanced in facilitating China-Europe Land Sea Express. Secondly, cooperation should be strengthened in combating smuggling. Thirdly, capacity building cooperation should be increased in Information Technology. And fourthly, the negotiation and signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on mutual administrative assistance should be pushed forward. Chinese Ambassador Wen Zhenshun to Macedonia attended the meeting.

On the same day, Vice Minister Lyu visited the detector dog and detecting equipment center, and exchanged experience and perspectives on strengthening the use of detecting equipment, in order to increase security and clearance efficiency.
