Shijiazhuang Customs Seizes IPR-Infringing Clutch Products
10/28/2020

On October 14, Shijiazhuang Customs seized an IPR-infringing case involving 80 clutch pressure plates in Zhengding County, Hebei Province.

At Zhengding Customs House, while the officers were inspecting a consignment out of local bonded area, they found 30 clutch pressure plates infringing on “SACHS” trademark right of ZF Friedrichshafen AG and 50 ones infringing on the trademark right of Changchun YIDONG Clutch Company. Later, the 80 products were identified to be counterfeit by the trademark owners. Now, this case is under further investigation.

Since this year, Shijiazhuang Customs District has been carrying out the “Soaring Dragon 2020” campaign for IPR protection, with many measures cracking down on trademark right infringement, in order to safeguard IPR owners’ legal interests and an equitable import/export trading order.
