Vice Minister Zhang Jiwen met with Dr. Anup Wadhawan, Commerce Secretary of the Department of Commerce of India, in Beijing on January 21.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral animal and plant quarantine and food safety issues and signed the Protocol of Phytosanitary Requirements for the Export of Tobacco Leaves from India to China between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare of the Republic of India.
