On December 7, officers from Zhoushan Customs House (affiliated to Hangzhou Customs District) visited Zhoushan ShenYing Filter Manufacture Company Ltd., located in Daishan County of Zhoushan City, to provide guidance for enterprise authentication.

“In the past, we have technology and brand, but still can’t export our products smoothly. The Customs gave guidance and we learned that authenticated firms can enjoy customs clearance facilitation in import and export, offering us more opportunities to compete internationally,” said Liu Xinyuan, who is in charge of customs affairs of ShenYing Company, at a meeting room with kinds of technology patent certificates.

Since this year, Hangzhou Customs has conducted 30 presentations on customs credit management, training enterprise staff more than 1000 person-time; participated in many information sessions to publicize credit management policy, and provided training for more than 3000 firms. Many firms have applied to the Customs for authentication and the Customs provided door-to-door guidance.

On the training site in ShenYing Company, Customs officers, by following authentication standard in credit management measures, offered full explanation and hands-on guidance in terms of enterprise internal control, financial status, trade security and legal compliance, keeping active interactions with the trainees.

The Company executives praised the officers for their door-to-door guidance. For example, Liu Xinyuan said: “this face-to-face guidance offered us a lot of new ideas and measures to enhance management and plug up loopholes, beneficial to our company very much.”

“The enterprise authentication standard is not the same as before. It is not judged merely by data, but more by practical management and operation as well as by credit records with other administrations, thus getting more comprehensive and practical,” said Chen Min, Section Chief of the Section of Inspection of Zhoushan Customs House. “New measures on enterprise credit management emphasize making Chinese enterprises in line with international standard. Now Chinahas achieved mutual Authorization Economic Operators(AEO) recognition with such four countries and regions as South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kongand EU, enabling the economic operators authenticated by China Customs to get clearance facilitation in all those countries and regions.
