Minister Ni Yuefeng meets with Mr. Senko Yury, Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus

Minister Ni Yuefeng meets with Mr. Tangebayev, Chairman of State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance, Kazakhstan

On June 9, Minister Ni Yuefeng respectively met with Mr. Vladimir Bulavin, Head of Federal Customs Service of Russia, Mr. Senko Yury, Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, and Mr. Tangebayev, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the sideline of the SCO Summit in Qingdao.

Minister Ni welcomed the Heads of the three countries’ customs authorities for attending the SCO Summit. All parties highly appraised the customs cooperation under the framework of SCO and unanimously agreed to cooperate pragmatically under the Belt and Road Initiative.

During the meeting with Mr. Bulavin, the two parties exchanged views and reached broad consensus on various issues including information exchange, the implementation of “Green Channel” for agricultural products, improving the mutual recognition on inspection results, launching off the discussion on AEO MRA , strengthening the customs supervision on international parcels as well as promoting the tripartite customs cooperation among China, Russia and Mongolia.

During the meeting with Mr. Senko, both sides discussed the following issues and reached consensus: promoting cooperation on China Railway Express and international logistics channels, negotiating on AEO MRA, strengthening cooperation on capacity building and sharing best practice of China customs on customs special zones, and developing jointly China-Belarus Industrial Park.

During the meeting with Mr. Tangebayev, the two parties exchanged views and reached broad consensus on information exchange, accelerating the construction of the Supervision Network Platform of Khorgos International Border Cooperation Center, pushing forward the negotiation on AEO MRA, the implementation of “Green Channel” for agricultural products, cooperating on international road transportation supervision, preventing nuclear radiation and the building of international logistics channels.

Vice Minister Zou Zhiwu and Mr. Zhang Guangzhi, Member of the CPC Leadership Group of the GACC, also attended the meetings.
