Enterprises Benefit from Shanghai FTZ System Promotion
11/09/2015

Jin Chunmin from Gain Tune Logistics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Said, Centralized declaration for separate deliveries has reduced the monthly number of our declaration forms from 155 to only 15, making our deliveries much faster and logistics cost much lower.

The centralized declaration for separate deliveries mentioned by Jin comes from Separate Entries/Exits, Centralized Declaration system, one of the 31 innovations for Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) by Shanghai Customs District. External promotion of the FTZ system has brought such substantial benefits to enterprises outside the FTZ.

Gain Tune Logistics (Shanghai) Co., a firm subject to Xinzhuang Customs House(affiliated to Shanghai Customs District), is providing inventory management services for 3 enterprises including Texas Instruments (Shanghai), WPG (China) Inc. and Inventec Corporation. Before, it took 2 workdays for Gain Tune Logistics to finish one delivery process and the firm had to cost much in human and material resources to secure its logistics with frequent deliveries.

Xinzhuang Customs House, by taking advantage of FTZ system promotion, guided and supported firms to utilize FTZ Separate Entries/Exits, Centralized Declaration system based on their real needs. Through the new model, Gain Tune Logistics can make deliveries after applying to the Customs and then make centralized declaration within the time limited by the Customs, thus meeting its delivery needs characterized by small quantities in many batches. This system enables the firm to consolidate scattered human and material resources, average monthly declaration reduced to 15 forms and monthly declaration fee reduced by 20,000 yuan or so.
