Sotheby’s Autumn Auction Preview was held in Shanghai on September 4. In advance, Shanghai Customs officers made the field inspection on the previous day, allowing the inbound exhibits to be showcased after confirming their compliance. 

For this preview, the Customs dealt with 132 pieces of exhibits including antique porcelains, calligraphy and paintings, and jewelry, worth 168 million US dollars in total.

Due to the time urgency, the Customs got in touch with the exhibition operators before the arrival of goods to make proper arrangement and they finally facilitated the clearance under security control.
