According to Shenzhen Customs, on November 29, the Customs seized bottles of foreign wine concealed in the trunk of a car entering Shenzhen Bay pass from Hong Kong, all the wine worth over CNY 1.2 million.
At 14:30 that day, when inspecting the inward car with two license plates, the Customs officers found its trunk filled with many bottles of foreign wine, including notably valuable first-generation Louis XIII that was made in 1960s.
There were totally 113 bottles including 24 bottles of Louis XIII plus 89 bottles of MOYET FINE CHAMPAGNE and FOLLIGNY COGNAC. At Customs inquiry, the car driver was remorseful on trying to carry foreign wine inward without declaration. Now, the case has been under anti-smuggling investigation.
