Vice Minister Zou Zhiwu meets with Mr. Benech, Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of Uruguay.

On May 10, Vice Minister Zou Zhiwu met with Mr. Benech, Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP) of Uruguay, at the headquarters of China Customs.

The two sides exchanged in-depth views on issues such as the convening of the 4th Meeting of China-Uruguay SPS Technical Consultation Committee, and the current status on market access procedures of Uruguayan soy bean and honey.

After the meeting, Vice Minister Zou and Minister Benech jointly signed the Protocol of Phytosanitary Requirements for Export of Uruguayan Fresh Blueberries to China, and the Protocol of Quarantine and Health Requirements for Cattle for Meat Purpose to be Exported from Uruguay to China.
