On February 17, Manzhouli Customs captured a case of cosmetics smuggling at Manzhouli road port (the largest land pass on China-Russia border), seizing 1,387 pieces of lip gloss, 93 boxes of pressed powder, and some branded garments, worth about CNY 340,000 intotal.

Around 1:00 a.m. that morning, the Customs officers found an inward Russian minibus suspicious-looking. Through inspection, in the trunk of the car, they discovered those concealed cosmetics from within cloth-covered boxes.
