On February 6-7, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao paid a visit to Australian Customs and Border Protection Service and met with its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Roman Quaedvlieg in Melbourne, Australia.

 The two sides reviewed and positively evaluated the Customs cooperation between China and Australia, and discussed further cooperation on combating drug smuggling，point-to-point risk targeting and trade facilitation, etc.

The two sides signed the Minutes Between The General Administration Of Customs Of The People’s Republic Of China And The Customs And Border Protection Service Of The Commonwealth Of Australia after the meeting.

Vice Minister Sun also visited Strategic Border Command of Australian Customs, observed the process of risk analysis, targeting and commanding, and paid a field visit to the National Border Targeting Center of Australian Customs.
