On September 9, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao visited the National Crime Agency Law Enforcement Center in Scotland of the U.K..

During the visit, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao held friendly talks with directors from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs of the U.K. and the Law Enforcement Center of National Crime Agency, consulted on working mechanism relating to the organization structure of the Law Enforcement Center, communication between departments and sharing of intelligence and information, etc. He was also briefed by officials from the British Law Enforcement on typical enforcement cases of anti-smuggling of tobacco, drug and money laundering. Both sides had an in-depth exchange of views in strengthening the China-UK customs cooperation. 

On the same day, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao met with Mr. Pan Xinchun, the Chinese Consul-General in Edinburgh, and discussed on matters relating to the new development of China-UK customs cooperation, including cooperation on ensuring the safety of supply chain system and trade facilitation.
