Lanzhou Customs Helps Export “Qin’an Peaches” to Singapore
08/05/2019

On July 23, 900 kilograms of “Qin’an Peaches” —a special fruit of Gansu Province, were exported by air to Singapore for the first time after being quarantined by Tianshui Customs House in Lanzhou Customs District. This marked a new breakthrough in fruits export from Gansu Province.

In support of overseas marketing “Qin’an peaches”, Tianshui Customs keeps strict registration of export-oriented orchards and fruit package plants; monitors the risks of quarantine pests, pesticide residue and heavy metal contamination; and helps the businesses with sanitary quality management, practice of fruit plantation as well as use of agricultural chemicals to ensure the peach quality.

Seeing the time urgency in clearance, the Customs House opened a green channel, working overtime on the declarations, to release the export in seconds.
