On April 21, Mr. Zhang Guangzhi, Head of State Office for Ports of Entry Management and Coordination and Chair of Sino-Mongolian Border Management Cooperation Committee for the Chinese side, and Director General Asralt Batbold, Chair of Sino-Mongolian Border Management Cooperation Committee for the Mongolian side co-chaired the 2nd meeting of the Sino-Mongolian Border Management Cooperation Committee.

The two sides reviewed and summarized the implementation of the minutes of the first meeting of the Committee and discussed the issues on the revision of the Agreement on the Border Ports of Entry and Management Mechanism thereof between the People’s Republic of China and Republic of Mongolia. The meeting achieved fruitful results and reached broad consensus on promoting the opening of ports of entry, strengthening construction of port facilities, improving customs clearance environment, maintaining close cooperation between the local governments and inspection authorities of the two countries, and "Single Window" construction.
