From November 28 to 29, Minister Ni Yuefeng led a visiting delegation to the port of Santos and Rio de Janeiro of Brazil.

In the port of Santos, Minister Ni visited an orange juice warehouse of Louis Dreyfus Brazil, and a grain products warehouse of COFCO Brazil to have a better understanding of Brazil’s food and agricultural trade with China and the control of product quality and safety. In Rio de Janeiro, Minister Ni visited the local office of Brazilian Customs and got to know their risk control system and customs inspection procedure.

During his visit, Minister Ni also met with Mr. Li Yang, Chinese Consul General to Rio de Janeiro, and the heads of the Brazilian Grain Association and Brazilian Beef Exporters Association.
