On June 23, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao held a bilateral meeting with Mr. . Director General of Belgian Administration of Customs and Excise in Beijing. The two sides spoke positively of the achievements that the two Customs have made in their cooperation, exchanged views and reached consensus on signing and implementing cooperation paper on cracking down on endangered species smuggling, deepening China-Europe Customs cooperation, advancing China-Belgium Green Train project, and strengthening coordination in WCO affairs.

After the meeting, Mr.  visited China Customs Museum and donated Belgium Customs uniform to the museum. Vice Minister Sun attended the donation ceremony and delivered a speech.

Authorized by Minister Yu Guangzhou and on behalf of China Customs, Vice Minister Sun and Mr. Copin signed the Memorandum of Understanding Concerning Cooperation in Combating Smuggling of Endangered Species between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the General Administration of Customs and Excise of the Kingdom of Belgium in the Great Hall of the People.
