Recently, 703 kilograms of live lobsters from Canada were delivered by air into Qingdao’s Liuting International Airport, and Qingdao Customs quickly released the lobsters in the hot summer weather.
In the fishing off-season, the import of "foreign seafood" can meet domestic consumer demand. Since the seafood is fresh and perishable, Liuting Airport Customs House conducted "declaration in advance, inspection at airport terminal and pickup on the spot", giving immediate release to ensure the inward supply in fresh state.
“The Customs opened a special service window for us to finish all formalities within 40 minutes, without affecting the freshness of live lobsters," said BONDEX LOGISTICS COMPANY’s Manager Fu. Seeing the high efficiency of clearance, the Company gets more confident about seafood import business.
