Vice Minister Hu Wei Heads a Delegation to Cambodia

Vice Minister Hu Wei signs a cooperation document with Mr. Kun Nhem, Director General of the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia.

 

 

Vice Minister Hu Wei signs a tripartite cooperation document with representatives of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia.

 

Vice Minister Hu Wei signs a cooperation document with Mr. Veng Sakhon, Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia.

 

 

From June 13 to 17, Vice Minister Hu Wei headed a delegation to Cambodia.

 

Vice Minister Hu Wei held bilateral meetings respectively with Mr. Veng Sakhon, Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), Mr. Kun Nhem, Director General of the General Department of Customs and Excise and Mr. Mam Bunheng, Minister of the Ministry of Health of Cambodia, during which they exchanged in-depth views on enhancing cooperation in such areas as quarantine access for agricultural products and food, capacity building, anti-smuggling enforcement and, frontier health and quarantine between the two countries. Vice Minister Hu Wei also signed the Work Plan on Promoting Quarantine Access for Export of Cambodian Mangoes to China, the Minutes of the Bilateral Meeting, and the Cooperation Agreement on Frontier Health and Quarantine respectively with the above-mentioned officials of Cambodia.

 

On June 17, Vice Minister Hu Wei attended the Tripartite Meeting between China, Cambodia and UNIDO on Import and Export Facilitation of Agricultural Products and Food in Cambodia. Vice Minister Hu Wei signed a Joint Declaration on enhancing the tripartite cooperation with Mr. Sok Narin, Country Representative of UNIDO in Cambodia and Dr. Hean Vanhan, Secretary of State of MAFF.
 
During his visit in Cambodia, Vice Minister Hu also met with Mr. Wang Wentian, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, and paid visits to Cambodia Customs field at the airport and a banana plantation.
