Recently, a Shenzhen-based trading company declared to Laogang Customs House, Huangpu Customs District for importing 62.53 tons of zinc concentrate. However, through field inspection, customs officers suspected the goods as solid waste. Through sample testing in the Customs laboratory, the goods were identified to be solid waste containing zinc and waste battery carbon rods, which should be prohibited from import.

Now, this batch of solid waste is under further disposal by competent department.
