On June 7, Shantou Customs announced that it found 121 boxes of plastic slippers totaling 13,340 pairs marked with “NIKE” hook-like pattern in the export goods declared by a firm from Jieyang City. Through communication with the NIKE trademark owner, those slippers were manufactured upon IPR-infringement and thus detained by the Customs.
