On March 13, through field quarantine at Wujiang Customs House in Nanjing Customs District, a total of 7,020 magnolia seedlings were exported to the UK by Wujiang Zhonglin Seedlings Company based in Suzhou City.

Early before the Company’s work resumption, Wujiang Customs House actively learned the Company’s export plans and notified it of latest foreign phytosanitary regulations and technical trade barriers. 

By following Nanjing Customs measures for both COVID-19 epidemic control and foreign trade growth, Wujiang Customs House has been in great support of resuming exports from local agricultural producers. According to the Customs House, they conduct paperless processes of export declaration, quarantine and release in strict compliance with anti-epidemic inspection requirements, so as to complete field quarantine and export clearance without any delay.
