Since September 10, 72-hour Transit Without Visa (TWOV) has been formally implemented at Nanjing Lukou International Airport. Travelers from 51 countries including the USA, Germany and South Korea can apply for 72-hour TWOV to enter Nanjing and may be allowed to go around within Jiangsu Province during the 72 hours.

In cooperation with airlines and other port administrations, the Airport Office of Jinling Customs House (affiliated to Nanjing Customs District) worked out control service plan in advance and offered consulting services for travelers on the inspection spot through bulletin boards and professional consultants. The travelers can also dial customs service hot-line 12360.

Jinling Customs House has also set up a customs-controlled warehouse to store and manage the luggage of TWOV entrants, which are disallowed to be brought in.
