Vice Minister Zou Zhiwu led a delegation to Japan from November 5 to 9.

During his visit, Vice Minister Zou co-chaired the 3rd China-Japan Ministerial Meeting on Food Security with Mr. Yoshinori OGUCHI, State Minister of the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, exchanging ideas on future cooperation on import and export food safety between China and Japan. Vice Minister Zou also held talks with Mr. TAKAMI Hiroshi, Deputy Director of Japan Customs and Tariff Bureau and paid site visits to Osaka Customs, Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System (NACCS) Center, CCIC Japan Corporation, and the Kobe Quarantine Station and Food Inspection Corporation.

In addition, Vice Minister Zou also held a work meeting with Mr. Cheng Yonghua, Chinese Ambassador to Japan.
