Mr. Hu Wei, Vice Minister of GACC, visited Cyprus from September 22 to 25.

Vice Minister Hu held a bilateral meeting with Louis Tsangarides, Chief Agricultural Officer of Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, and exchanged views and reached consensus on import and export food safety cooperation, market access for Cypriot agri-food and enterprise registration. He also had a bilateral meeting with Ms. Kyriaki Myrianthopoulou, Acting Director General of Cyprus Customs. Both parties agreed to formally establish and develop bilateral cooperation relationship.

During his stay, Vice Minister Hu also met with Mr. Huang Xingyuan, Chinese ambassador to Cyprus, and visited export-related Cypriot enterprises.
