From December 7 to 12, the World Customs Organization (WCO)’s 83rd Policy Commission Session and 137th Council Session were held in a virtual manner. China Customs attended both meetings, shared views on a number of topics including governance, compliance and facilitations, capacity building, and Customs response to COVID-19, and also participated in the voting of the new Tariff and Trade Affairs Director.

China will continue its membership in WCO Policy Commission and Finance Committee in the period of 2020 to 2022, according to the Council decision.
