On November 7, Mr Zou Zhiwu, Vice Minister of GACC, held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Moshe Asher, Director General of the Israeli Tax Authority in Beijing.

During the meeting, both sides spoke highly of the momentum that had been developed between the two nations regarding customs cooperation. They exchanged their views and reached a consensus on a number of issues including AEO mutual recognition, the sharing of knowledge regarding customs IT applications, cooperation on security, and the deepening of law enforcement cooperation as well as capacity building.
