During August 5-9, Lanzhou Customs released 2,722 Muslim pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from Gansu Province and Tibet Region, involving 8 outward flights and 3,637 pieces of luggage.
Through advance control, Lanzhou Customs centralized all relevant declarations, cleared the exits by group, and inspected outward luggage in advance so as to relieve the stress on field clearance; besides, the Customs assigned field service volunteers to publicize customs policies and help the passengers, thus making the clearance environment smooth and harmonious.
