On Nov. 14, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao held talks with Commissioner Roman Quaedvlieg of the Australian Border Force in Beijing.

Both sides reviewed the cooperative outcome and the progress in implementing the Strategic Partnership Program between China and Australian Customs(SPP). They reached consensus on further cooperation in the following areas: push forward development of cooperation by taking advantage of high level exchange in advancing cooperative initiatives, drive forward strategic partnerships and strengthen cooperation in key areas such as risk management, fighting against smuggling of drugs and those of precursor chemicals, training and breeding of detector-dogs, mutual recognition of AEO programmes and customs cooperation at regional levels, enhance coordination of policies in matters concerning multilateral framework, and advance forward effective cooperation by giving the full play of Customs Attaches.
