On May 29, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao headed a delegation to Canada.

In Ottawa, capital of Canada, Vice Minister Sun met with Mr. Luo Zhaohui, the Chinese Ambassador to Canada, briefed on the latest progress of China-Canada Customs cooperation, and learnt about the development of Chinese overseas enterprises in Canada and specific issues related to customs operations.

During the trip, discussions with representatives from Huawei Technology Research Institution in Ottawa also proceeded. Cooperation between China-Canada Customs regarding trade facilitation and related customs policies were introduced, aiming at further improving company’s compliance to enjoy more benefits from customs cooperation.
