Mr. Yu Guangzhou, Minister of GACC, and Mr. Sun Yibiao, Vice Minister of GACC, attended the Thematic Session of Trade Connectivity of the “Belt and Road” Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing on May 14.
Yu’s speech, Deepening Cooperative Mechanism in Great Customs Clearance and Promoting Trade Connectivity in “the Belt and Road” introduced the cooperation in terms of “information exchange, mutual recognition of inspection and mutual assistance of law enforcement” and great customs clearance between China Customs and the customs in those countries along the routes of “the Belt and Road”; and proposed five suggestions for further cooperation: deepening synergy of cooperative mechanisms; strengthening the communication with respect to administrative rules, enforcement procedures, supervision measures and reform experience among countries; deepening cooperation on supervision innovation, exploring mutual recognition of inspection results, expanding cooperation on AEO mutual recognition; promoting high-tech means and equipment application; realizing accurate regulation and intelligent regulation; strengthening information sharing and driving “Single Window” standard cohesion in international trade to achieve standardized data exchanges and set up a sharing platform for efficient, safe and normative data in the customs along the line; improving cooperation on trade safety and customs information exchanges, expanding the cooperation in joint law enforcement and anti-terrorist and strictly combat the cross-border smuggling and illegal activities; improving the capacity building cooperation and adhering to all-inclusive customs along the routes; enhancing experience and intelligence sharing; and learning from each other thereby making a common progress.
