According to Guangzhou Customs news of August 16, Panyu Customs House found an export shipment declared of “18K gold-inlaid jewelry” included 60 necklaces and bracelets infringing the trademark “BVLGARI” — a world-famous brand. This case, worth 40,000 yuan, is the first seizure of intellectual property right (IPR) infringement in jewelry processing with foreign-supplied materials in Guangzhou Customs region.
