On August 25, Guangzhou Customs announced that Baiyun Airport Customs House recently seized a batch of exporting sunglasses falsely declared as dresses and cellphone films. These sunglasses, printed with trademarks like “PRADA”, “CHANNEL”, “FENDI” and “MIU MIU”, were suspected of infringing the intellectual property rights (IPR).
Identified by the trademark owners, there were 7,460 pairs of sunglasses infringing the world-famous brands like “PRADA”, “CHANNEL”, “FENDI” and “MIU MIU”, which were registered with China Customs for IPR protection.
