On August 9, in Qingdao Customs District, Yantai Customs House seized a giant clam carried inward by a passenger without declaration. The giant clam, weighing 17kg, 43cm long, 30cm wide and 24cm tall, was identified to belong to China's Class-1 Protected Animals.
