On 21 May, Vice Minister Hu Wei met with Mr. Maswadi Mohsin, Acting Controller of Royal Customs and Excise Department of Ministry of Finance, Negara Brunei Darussalam, and Mr. Ho Chee Pong, Director-General of Singapore Customs Service in Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Vice Minister Hu and Mr. Maswadi Mohsin exchanged views and reached consensus on the application of non-intrusive inspection equipment and strengthening cooperation on law enforcement, capacity building and the Forum for Head of Customs Administrations along the Belt and Road.

Vice Minister Hu and Mr. Ho Chee Pong reached consensus on mutual recognition of AEO and cooperation on anti-smuggling activities, capacity building and etc.
