Customs seizure of IPR-infringing sneakers

Recently in Dalian Customs District, an outbound lorry with export shoes was intercepted by Dandong Customs House as the officers found the lorry concealing 2,173 pairs of branded sneakers including 913 pairs with NIKE trademark and 1,260 pairs with ADIDAS trademark.

By contacting relevant IPR owners, the Customs confirmed on July 22 the IPR infringement by these branded sneakers.

Now, the export consignment is detained under further investigation by Dandong Customs House.
